telidon

Telidon was inspired by the noisy, old dot matrix printers of the 1970s and 80s. You can almost hear the zinging of the print-head zipping across the tractor-fed pages. While printing the latest monthly sales figures, chances were pretty good you were looking at something like Telidon. The print was pixelly, monospaced and ungraceful but it had a certain charm and got the job done in a hurry even if it was noise was enough to drown out the boss’s voice.

Revel in the irony of using your expensive modern printer to recreate the look of a dot matrix printer.

Telidon has 3 weights; regular, bold and heavy, available in 3 widths: condensed, regular, and expanded and is rounded out with italics for each making a total of 18 styles.

When you need extra emphasis:

Try Telidon on your LED animated billboard for an authentic pixelated look. Use it on retro designs. Why not revive the office chic of the 70s and 80s on your next corporate report or package design? See if the boss gives away his age by asking where you found the old printer.
